Comfort

Tom reminded me last night of something our dear friend (whom we lost yesterday) said during a recent Bible study. I remember how this statement amazed us: "I just long to be with my Lord! Don't get me wrong, I love my wife and kids -- I really do, and I have a wonderful job. But if I were to die right now, that would be just fine with me. I'm ready!" ... Then today, I received an e-mail telling us more about recent events in the lives of these friends. The 12-year-old son had made his profession of faith just a few weeks ago! How sweet that father and son were together as they met Jesus face to face!
